The results of this year’s HSC and equivalent examinations will be released by December 25, said Prof. Dr. At. Ziaul Haque. He told this to the media after a meeting at the Ministry of Education on Tuesday (November 10). The meeting was held between the Inter-Board Coordination Sub-Committee and the Grade Evaluation Committee.
Professor. At. Ziaul Haque said the HSC results will be released by the 25th of next month. Work is underway on its draft policy. He further said that HSC and equivalent results will be released on the basis of JSC-JDC and SSC examination results. The student’s grade point will be determined on the basis of the results of the previous two examinations.
It was informed at the meeting that the work of preparing the test results has already started. The Grade Evaluation Technical Committee will submit a report within the current month outlining the GPA grade assessment to produce results. This draft policy is being prepared based on the report. At the meeting, an eight-member technical committee was formed to determine the grade of the candidates in ‘Auto Pass’.
Professor. At. Ziaul Haque said, “We have made multiple proposals in four meetings.” A final proposal will be selected and sent to the Ministry of Education at the end of November. HSC and equivalent examination results will be prepared by making policy on its basis.
The chairman of the Dhaka Board has been made the member secretary of the eight-member committee headed by the additional secretary of the education ministry. The committee includes representatives of Dhaka University, BUET, National University, Department of Health Education and Chairman of Technical and Madrasa Education Board.
